Congress' Plan for coming back to power: Did you notice something in the last two years? Firstly, Congress has accepted, though not in so many words but visibly, that it is no more a super power or leader of any coalition formed by it. Bihar election is confirmation. Besides, see what is happening in Parliament. No other party in opposition is recalling all their abuses of Congress when it was the ruling party. Not one of them. Because while some parties like SP think they are now in a better position than Congress, most others like CPI, TMC, JDU, etc. think Congress is at best their equal or less than equal. But they all also know Congress is still the party with the maximum moola! It has stashed away thousands of crores in India and abroad. The opposition thinks, as they rightly did in Bihar, that there is no sense in abusing it because if they do, even the few people who support it, will go to BJP instead of voting for the opposition! Besides the opposition very bad

SEX AND ICE CREAM Decades ago there was an issue of TIME magazine devoted to sex education and whether it was necessary for youth. Don't be surprised. By today's standards people were not so 'advanced'. More religious, segregation was prevalent, foreigners and poor were looked down, young girls wore long gowns with their bodies well covered. I do not remember now the contents of the articles. But remember a one line response to the articles in the following weekly issue of TIME. The letter writer stated: "If you talk long enough about ice cream, the child wants it!" That was the first letter in the Letters to the Editor Column. I was probably in my thirties and was quite impressed by that one sentence. The more I thought about it, I could find more and different meanings in it. Especially how our mind accepts something, good or bad, if the same thing is repeated ad nauseam; how our elders discouraged us to keep away from things known to be not good

WHAT SHOULD BJP DO FOR WINNING TAMIL NADU? BJP should just tell in detail about its plans for the nation & in particular for the State and need not at all get into fight with either AIADMK or DMK. It should not even bother to respond to any frivolous accusations from them, especially from DMK, because it is no more a viable party even with its associates, Congress and communists. Tamils know everything about Amma Jayalalitha whereas they don't know much about BJP even today, because most of them don't know Hindi and many not even English. A vigorous campaign highlighting plans for progress will get them enough votes to be the main opposition this time around and when the plans are complete, may be it will become the ruling party in the election after the forthcoming one. If possible it should avoid AIADMK as even the major partner, because irrespective of its progressive policies which have borne fruits to Tamil Nadu, AIADMK's first name is Entrenched Corruption

Hillary is too clever by half! Sanders has more than once clearly spoken about his TOTAL OPPOSITION to the influence of big money in electoral politics, especially through Super PACs and donations from big business houses either directly or through other legal methods such as speaking fees, donations to institutions, especially charities, controlled by politicians. While we all know about the millions collected by her from at least one source, Goldman Sachs, she has not yet disclosed any other such payments. Unless she does so now, it will be quite embarrassing to her if they are found out by Sanders before the election. The least she could do is to come clean NOW about ALL donations to her or institutions associated with her. Coming to the speaking fees from Goldman, MSNBC has asked her to disclose the text of her speeches, so valuable that each of them cost more than 1.5 million! But there should be some quid pro quo. Otherwise even the tax authorities may not allow such ex
