YOU MAY LIKE IT! - 8/1/2017 Whoever likes to wait for a minute before pointing out a mistake! None. All of us take pleasure in doing it. Some time just for fun and very often to show off. On few occasions just to insult the other! But when we are at the receiving end, it is quite a different story! Should we or can we stop pointing fingers? Neither we can, nor we should. When it is done with good intention in an appropriate tone, it helps others to improve and even builds a good relationship. Many a time we are even thanked and appreciated for guiding. It is not what we say, but the way we say it makes us look good and appreciated. Our tone indicates that our intention was not to hurt but to educate and for the good of all. At the same time, a bad tone, even if it may convey a good advice, elicits only a bad reaction. But it is also a FACT, you need REST if you want to put the maximum time in the best useful manner. With modern communication equipment, travel to do business has become less and less. Unless your job is just meeting people located at far distances very frequently, for which you can always plan well in advance, you don’t HAVE to rush by the fastest means available at a much greater cost! Because whether you spend the time traveling or sitting in your office or wherever, you are always ENGAGED, even if you are sleeping! So why spending billions in developing and creating faster and faster passenger planes just to shave off a few hours and pay a huge amount for that? I was reading an article in the current TIME magazine about California trying to control mosquito breeding by letting loose sterile male mosquitoes in millions. I was amused and was about to send a tweet as given below: “California is letting lose 20 million sterile mosquitoes to control their spread. Those are useless anyway and so is the money wasted on them. A handful of non-sterile can procreate millions more in due course. Or have they found out lady mosquitoes don't mate more than once or not at all with another?” Rohan, my grandson, was passing by and I called him out and showed him the news item in the TIME and my comment on it and asked for his comment.
