In which world is Mr. Khera living? Is he serious when telling "With disparate groups lending restraint to governments and parties, competing political voices automatically become watchdogs of institutional integrity."? It was solely because disparate political parties were trying to grind their own axes that the governments, both at central and states, were made totally ineffective and also general administration and to a large extent even the judiciary. That is the reason why people voted for a single party to have a effective majority in Lok Sabha and in various States. The proof of the pudding was in the eating. Why does not he corroborate his conclusions by giving the names of a few prominent institutions which can be counted for integrity?

It is not disparate groups which become watchdogs of institutional integrity. It is people at the helm known for spotless integrity. Remember our President Abdul Kalam? Disparate groups have their own disparate interests; they are called 'disparate groups' because all of them cannot see eye to eye when it comes to national interest and their 'interests' take priority over national interest.

The rest of the article shows how much 'integrity' Mr. Khera himself has. He goes on and on on praise of Congress party and its leader Sonia Gandhi and even brings in what the present PM did in his time as CM to buttress his fiction. He then descends to the lowest level of journalism by telling us the Railways do not have any record of any license issued to Narendra Modi for selling tea when he was young. I am sure he knows the Railways have in their records the license details of the thousands of tea and other vendors all these years safely kept for journalists the likes of Khera! As a true 'modern senior journalist' he comes out implying "See there is no record of any license. That means Modi did not sell any tea at all at railway stations.!" His brain needs bleaching.
