Suggestion for improving subscribers:

How many letters received thru mail? A lot. But you do throw away many more without even opening them when you see who was the sender! You start really wondering how so many got your mailing address!

Same is the case for emails also; only still more in number. The mailers search out your email address and keep on sending their stuff till you consign their mail to spam and delete.

It is not much different for twitter. You like a tweet and in a expansive mood you click “follow”. That is it. Not only that twitter, but all whom he retweets end up on your site! I have hardly 139 followers and another 87 whom I follow. But receive more than 2500 tweets on an average.

I don’t like deleting anyone’s name. Don’t want to hurt them. I will feel hurt if I have to delete any one of my 139 followers, whom I am not following. So would they probably feeling!

I have a solution to this problem which will help me and a number of frustrated twitters like me. At the same time it will also thus help in increase in new subscribers.

I skip a lot of tweets just looking at who had sent it or what is subject. I just scroll on. How will it be if I do this to any other twitter regularly for more than say 30 times? In that case a new “unlike’ button should light up red and if I don’t do anything on another 10 occasions, the twitter is automatically removed without any notification to anyone. People may doubt I deleted but will not know for sure! This should be in addition to my being able to delete anyone from my list. This kind of deletion will help keeping twitter world better populated with real and intelligent users who will add to its value, unlike useless tweeters who only add to its bulk without value.

Many advertisers also get in without invitation, probably through those companies which claim they can increase the number of your friends. Pl totally abolish them. You will get genuine subscribers who will be your asset. Not these pseudo friends. These tweet demons add to the bulk, but not to its value. If let uncontrolled twitter will become a tasteless pudding!
