Election results 2014: Reverse polarization is why Muslim votes did not count in UP and Bihar

If you seriously believe this, you should also be believing the canard of Christian Missionaries bent upon converting everyone into Christianity. It is true that there are some people and even some well managed organizations with the sole purposes of universalizing their religion. But you will find them existing even after ten centuries, just like those who deny climate change now. 

You may ask why then the majority of Muslims don't laugh at the few sticking to this propaganda. It has many reasons. One is the very wide spread comparative, but distinctly obvious, poverty among Muslims as compared to others. This gives them a feeling of inferiority complex. Just as well-to-do people group together, so do poor and they hold on to their religion as a group identity to feel better. So much so that most of them are afraid even to speak against the violence indulged by a few among them, to keep the group together. 

The second reason is most modern societies do not accept the way of living of Muslims - like multiple marriages, subjugation of women and not many of them adopting to modern western ways of living. The reason for non-acceptance may be the lack of education, poverty and fear of rejection by both their own community and the Westernized communities. They will also change as so many others following different religions have changed like Japanese, who have come to accept and be accepted. Chinese and Indians are half the way in that route. You will find even nowadays a lot of togetherness in entertainment industry, arts and in our colleges and universities  

Lastly, superior economy will make all religions equal and not fight among themselves. Have you seen wealthy nations fighting among themselves for decades. No. Because nobody wants his accumulated wealth destroyed on purposeless wars. (Wealthy nations do not mind going on war against poor nations, though!) Serious communal clashes within wealthy nations are unheard of.

Once Pakistan realizes its folly and its ruling party stops fomenting trouble in India for holding on to power with the support of religious fanatics in their midst, Indian Muslims will also feel more secure and stop reacting like puppets to the anti-national Mullahs here. Besides once our economy, which is far better now than that of Pakistan, moves up by leaps and bounds (just like BJP's number of MPs in today's election results!), Indian Muslims will realize how much better off they are here and stop totally comparing and looking up to Pakistan. Incidentally, Muslims in this subcontinent know that Arab Muslims do not consider them equal. When Indians Muslims themselves become much better off than the Arabs, then they will get a superiority complex and break out of their self-created walls.  By the time Modi's second term is over, Inshah Allah, this should happen.
