So far 90% of estimated black money has been deposited back in banks. Till 31 st March 2017 any legitimate holders can also return them in RBI. Government could have easily avoided the month long queues in front of banks if they had beforehand printed and supplied enough currency notes to ALL the branches of ALL banks. But NO GOVERNMENT anywhere in the world could have got that much currency notes of the highest quality printed and distributed at such a short notice. It would have resulted in a very large number of people come to knowing about the purpose of printing notes in such a large quantity and

Our 'Leaders' of the USA (Applicable to many in India also!) Real leaders do not long for victory for self benefit and never side with the devil for help, even while faced with defeat. But in case of pseudo leaders, when they are defeated, hope for self benefit makes them blind and they take the side of even the same devil they went to fight against! See those flocking to meet Trump hoping for an office! I laugh at them! When the devil again kicks them at their back and exposes to the world how hollow they were and are, all wake up, including them. Too late. Earlier it was their greed which made them fight and later side with devil. Now it is their fear of losing face which makes them NOT fight with the devil, proving they are not only greedy, but coward also. They will go to oblivion when world discards them as unreliable, besides everything else!
Shame the MPs and make them behave! The Speaker of Lok Sabha and the Chairman of Rajya Sabha should rule that from the day of the ruling, MPs will only be paid their salary and allowances strictly in proportion to the time they spent within the Chamber only, while it was in session. They should also announce no adjournment will be allowed, even if passed unanimously. All the time video recording will be on covering the whole Chamber and made available to public and posterity in its entirety for viewing and research without any charge and without any restriction on reproduction with or without editing. That should teach the unruly crowd a lesson. Candidates opposed to any member will be happy to distribute videos of his opponent's antics in the chamber during the campaign for the next election!
Can’t tax income from palace rent: Supreme Court Amit Anand Choudhary | TNN | Dec 6, 2016, 07.23 AM IST NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court held on Monday that the income earned by erstwhile rulers of a princely state or their heirs by renting out a portion of the residential palace was not taxable and rapped the Income Tax department for pursuing a case despite their income being exempted under IT law . A bench of Justices Ranjan Gogoi and Abhay Manohar Sapre allowed a plea of the ruler of the former princely state of Kota, now a part of Rajasthan, challenging the high court order for bringing his income from rent in the Income Tax net. The ruler owns extensive properties, including two residential palaces known as Umed Bhawan Palace and the City Palace. The ruler is using Umed Bhawan Palace for his residence and a portion of it was rented out to the ministry of defence way back in 1976. Judicial scholarship While releasing the book Inner Fire last week, Chief Justice of India T S Thakur acknowledged that it was the first time that he was presiding over a book launch which had nothing to do with the legal profession. Inner Fire is a translation and analysis of the Zoroastrian sacred verses, the Gathas, which date back to the age of prophet Zarathustra, somewhere between 6500BC to 1000 BC. The Gathas were passed on from generation to generation through oral tradition and the language in which they were originally composed is dead. The book’s author is Thakur’s fellow judge, Justice Rohinton Nariman, an ordained Zoroastrian priest who painstakingly reconstructed the original meaning of the words through comparisons with Sanskrit, since ancient Avestha and Rigvedic Sanskrit have much in common. One of the ways to keep in check our bloggers from overdoing could be giving them marks out of 100 for how much you believe in what they say and include a cumulative count. This will not only keep them sober but also will bring out the best in them to the top, irrespective of their sponsors. Readers cannot be taken for a ride anymore by opinianated and verbose bloggers without basic premises or data or who are riding on past glory. The so called opinion makers (in fact they are "so called" because they are, unfortunately) will not any more be "so called" just because they happen to be writing in famous magazines. The same can also go for TV channel commentators and hosts.

May I suggest a regular tweet feast by a reputed journalist / TV channel with resources to start tweeting daily what PM Modi said or did after the day he took over the reigns of present govt corresponding to present day, comparing it with what Rahul Baba et al said or did? It can start with a write up on what both did and/or said a couple of days earlier corresponding to say Nov. 10 in 2014 and then follow it up every day? May be ZEE TV or some other channel can make it a part of their daily review of events. It will put in a nutshell before people in stark light a true comparison between the performance of our PM and others.

The response received was widely publicized in media and discussed at smaller meetings. An insurance agent agrees with him that middle class is paying $740 a month health insurance with $6500 deductible! Ten years ago it was $282 with $1500 deductible for same coverage. Millennial, the most enthusiastic voters for Democrats, are mostly students away from home where they are registered as voters or do not exercise postal ballot very much. They are just good campaigners. Trump knew he was not good for any political office; but he was certain that he can put one over every American and come out a winner! I had mentioned in one of my earlier tweets when Donald seemed to be winning the primaries that Donald is contesting NOT to become President, but just as another of his ventures where his only object was to make money. First he will submit many times inflated bills to Republican National Committee for payment and collect it; if not, write them off and claim tax deduction. In both ways he will stand to make millions. Suggestion for improving subscribers: How many letters received thru mail? A lot. But you do throw away many more without even opening them when you see who was the sender! You start really wondering how so many got your mailing address! Same is the case for emails also; only still more in number. The mailers search out your email address and keep on sending their stuff till you consign their mail to spam and delete. It is not much different for twitter. You like a tweet and in a expansive mood you click “follow”. That is it. Not only that twitter, but all whom he retweets end up on your site! I have hardly 139 followers and another 87 whom I follow. But receive more than 2500 tweets on an average. I don’t like deleting anyone’s name. Don’t want to hurt them. I will feel hurt if I have to delete any one of my 139 followers, whom I am not following. So would they probably feeling! If you need a parade of a horse and an elephant to identify them, you deserve a donkey as prize. How many of our Presidents were toppers in their college debating societies? I have not even heard anyone in the past ever having been a great debater. Those guys generally prefer a law course and become great lawyers and judges. Not Presidents. Presidents are expected to take DECISIONS, just like judges do after listening to lawyers from both sides. Lawyers look for points favoring his client.
