Sharad Yadav is sitting on a point! 

 Truth has come out, though inadvertently! "They are supposed to run the house, instead they are sitting on protest. Who are they making demands to?" One who comes from probably a generation of rogues. Sharad Yadav made this statement in Rajya Sabha. He repeated this statement again and again several times, turning around in all directions! As if he has made an earth shaking point and smiling all along to show how intelligent he thought he was. Poor chap, he had not seen his face in a mirror for a long time!

What he means is the opposition is there only to create problems for the government and it is for the government to prove that it is one better. Do you think Members of Parliament who think on these lines, are fit to be elected to the august House? Even the pit (the trading floor) of the good old Bombay Stock Exchange will be more venerable as compared to the floor of Parliament when these charlatans are indulging in their shouting match.

I would have expected street urchins talk in the same way. We throw stones at shops and create problems for people because it is fun. It is for the police to protect people from us. These old bandicoots are worse than street urchins. Will this bloke accept if his wisecrack was accepted in toto by the ruling party and acted upon in the Lok Sabha? With full majority they can have a resolution passed in the Lok Sabha stating that anyone not following the direction of the Speaker and thus disturbing the proceedings will AUTOMATICALLY stand disqualified from the membership of the House? Speaker is the final authority in these matters and courts will not be of any help.

But the ruling party is not resorting to these extreme steps because it sincerely believes that these rogues also form a part of democracy and they should be allowed their tantrums. But it is time the opposition did not keep shouting mesmerized by its own noise. When one or two more elections to Rajya Sabha are held after a couple of State Assembly elections, these people will be shouting from the roof top that democracy is being throttled! As though democracy means everyone for himself  or anything done in the name of and presumed interests of a party is right and beyond any question.

Not only in India, but people all over the world have watched this tamasha long enough and are fast losing their respect for democracy. The law makers in the USA from both parties are uniformly considered by people and ALL media to be the worst examples representing democracy. Our MPs make even them respectable!

If these people do not mend their ways soon, people will mend them sooner!
