QUEUE ONLY FOR THE POOR IN SUPREME COURT

No wonder criminals with a big bank balance and a 'Senior' advocate can buy justice in India! Imagine the heartlessness: a condemned prisoner may languish in jail for years before his case is heard and if he is acquitted who compensates for him for the years he had spent behind bars? Why cannot they be given bail with guarantees and security or at least allowed to go out of jail frequently with escort to meet their families and just for breathing fresh air?

PRESTITUTE IS THE RIGHT WORD!

We can see every day the most popular journos twisting facts and sell their view point for TRPs. It is not unlike a sex worker selling herself for some consideration after putting on make up to please the customer. The Minister was 100% right.

GIVING UP GAS SUBSIDY

I would suggest gas selling companies introduce a debit card in association with SBI or some other bank, exclusively for gas purchase, also indicating the name, address and aadhar number of the person. Since aadhar number can be associated with relevant IT a/c, subsidy should be given only to those below certain annual income. Thus nobody who is not eligible for subsidy, will be able to avail of it.

NO EXCUSES FOR ERRING DRIVERS

The drivers know they were doing something wrong. Flimsy excuses for uniform will not hold water. They do not wear uniform and badge so that when they do something illegal like parking in a NO PARKING area, they can merge with people around and avoid being caught by police. The law wants only uniform, not clean uniform. The proposed step of Delhi Govt is only to please the most vocal group of its supporters.
AAP has been telling that all previous governments both at the Centre and in the States have been favoring only the rich and did not bother about poor. If favoring rich was wrong, the party should stop doing so anymore. It does not have to bend backwards and favor the poor instead. Two wrongs do not make anything right. Reverse discrimination is also as bad as discrimination.

SC SHOULD UPHOLD WHAT IS GOOD FOR THE GOOSE IS ALSO GOOD FOR THE GANDER

Diya taley andhera? I would strongly suggest that the Supreme Court judges put this case in queue and take it up for consideration in the year 2055.

LESSONS OF STUDENTS OF BIHAR

There is no doubt that there are students who seriously believe in studies and coming up. But you cannot ignore what the photograph of students' copying represents also. The fact is almost everyone takes the easiest route possible to fulfill his desires. The only deterrent is unlikely to do so if he were going to be alone in the endeavor.  It is known as mob psychology which is totally different and many a time totally opposed to what every man would believe or do. It does not apply only to criminal activities. It applies to good things also - like BJP or AAP being voted to power by such a big majority. It takes a clearly opposite movement to erase that effect, just like the illusion created by Congress that it was a great party interested in the welfare of people took more than sixty years to be erased. What does Bhagwan say in Gita: Sambhawami Yuge Yuge! Truth is God. It takes time for ignorant people to realize it.

PRESTITUTE! & V.K.Singh

How much one reacts adversely to an epithet depends on how much he believes others might think the epithet was right! Media have been called many names: lackeys,  pall bearers, stooges, etc. There has hardly been any violent reaction! But prestitute has ignited the media. Chor ki dadi mein tinka? Or truth hurts? Or V K Singh has hit the nail on its head? Or finally one with some stature removed their veil?

RAMALINGA RAJU'S CONVICTION

Not so fast! This is only the first episode. There will be appeals and more appeals petitions, revision petitions, etc. all the way to Supreme Court. By the time Ramalinga Raju finally goes to jail nobody will be bothered and he may get a full remission due to old age!

LAWS ARE NOT INTENDED TO PROTECT HABITUAL CRIMINALS
Does law permit shooting down habitual offenders? If it does will they please announce by public proclamation that all those listed thereunder are declared to be habitual offenders and therefore might be shot to death if found to be organizing or committing the offence once more? Such a proclamation should not be issued suo moto by government but it should be submitted to the High Court and only with its approval it should be issued. Laws are intended to protect innocent people. But if habitual criminals make habitual use of it to escape legal punishment, government cannot afford to 'catch me if you can' game with them. The duty of the government is first to protect all its citizens and then comes protection to the accused.

FREE PUBLICITY BY SHIV SENA TO SHOBA DE
Foolish Shiv Sena is giving free publicity to the most undeserving person and in the process is getting bad mouthed, though well deserved. This is how God punishes criminals. You tease someone weaker and God makes sure you are teased more painfully. Vinasha kale viparita buddhi! Remember these words of Jayaprakash Narayan when he was leading anti emergency agitation? How true!

TURKEY TRYING TO IMITATE PEACOCK!

A very balanced article. I can also feel the pain of disillusionment felt by Priya James. Followers of Modiji feel like that whenever RSS cadre raise issues which are divisive and try to take advantage of Modiji, who will not throw these people away from the party because he feels beholden to them for the services they rendered for the victory of BJP. Modiji knows that even if he does so, people will not blame him. Only the opposition party leaders will shed crocodile tears for them saying Modi has double crossed them. Modi continues making full efforts to keep his promises and hopes to significantly succeed in a couple of years. He will wait till then and only then come out to invite these people to help him by shedding their alleged patriotism. Kejriwal was also placed in a similar position when the stalwarts of AAP who helped him to become CM, wanted him to mend his ways. If he had retaliated by bringing in laws which he had promised and keeping his assurances of good conduct and governance (as Modiji did), people would have still supported him whole heartedly. But he had already violated AAP's basic principles: adhering to clean politics (by not following the constitution of AAP strictly), not promoting corruption (by giving tickets to known corrupt people) and truthfully working for the welfare of common man (by claiming bogus subsidies for electricity and water to people when the subsidies were out of the tax collected from them). He tried to ignore these issues first by flying away to Bangalore and then by keeping silent for a few days. He has now realized belatedly that however much he may try to compare his conduct as CM with that of Modiji as PM, people and media have started laughing at him. Remember a turkey trying to imitate a peacock? I am afraid Kejriwal has lost his leadership irrevocably because of his short sightedness. The countdown has started for AAP's demise.

LAKIR KE FAKIR!

FM should have called the Chairwoman of SBI as soon as RBI rate reduction was announced and directed her to reduce the interest rate, if she had not done already. Then there would not have been the embarrassment of RBI Governor having to publicly admonish the big banks and then they 'voluntarily' reducing the rates. When you want something to be done, give a directive coached in words which will look easy on their ego. We in India are used not to do anything unless we are directed. Our logic is: Let the sleeping dogs sleep. Why take the initiative and be blamed for it later on. I wonder if FM phoned the SBI chief after the rate was reduced and called for explanation why it took so long to do so? Unless you pull up these officials no one will want to take responsibility in government. Sack a few only for this reason irrespective of other qualifications, experience, etc. Also before officers are promoted ask them to submit in total confidence and without any punitive action whatsoever, a detailed note narrating all the initiatives they took while in service and what was the result. If any of their initiative was disregarded, let them say why it was done so and if they stand by it even now. Ask also to submit what will be their suggestions for improving the work of the department under their control. Make sure the notes are directly sent to the authorities reviewing their promotion and in no case through their bosses.   You will come to know how many 'lakir ke fakirs' we have in government service who think bhed chaal is the best trouble free route till pension!

A GOOD BAND OF JOURNALISTS IN INDIAN EXPRESS MADE TO RUB THEIR NOSES ON THE GROUND JUST TO PLEASE THE IRRATIONAL BOSS:

Indian Express cannot see anything in its true perspective if the word 'Modi' is there! Are all the journalists working in the Indian Express children of Dhritarashtra? Don't they have their own stories to tell? Are they bound to twist their tales to suit the two decade old hatred of Modi, if they want to see the stories the light of the day in print? The poison has been imbibed so much that they would not even give credit to a new Chief Minister for her new successful initiatives. But if she had followed Modi's way, they will jump upon her for doing so and condemn the 'communal politics' whatever it may mean in the dictionary of Indian Express!

IF YOU WANT TO KNOW FACTS, DON'T READ NEWSPAPERS! LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!

In my young days to prove that an incident did occur, it used to be said, "It is in the paper." Nowadays any incident, as it is reported in a paper, is more likely to be a modified version to suit the readers who patronize the paper. Knowing the tendency of people to just skim the headline, not having enough time to go through all pages and all news items completely, newspapers knowingly twist the facts to make them exciting! TOI is not an exception to this.

IS DEAD MAN's 'RESPECT' AN ISSUE?

Why media is wasting readers/viewers time by extensively reporting on these small matters? In this age of internet and google, every word printed is stored and every time Khattar's name comes up what all he did or said can be viewed in chronological order. Reporters simply pick and choose previous incidents and make a mountain of a mole hill. Since only controversial matters are generally reported, any future reports based on them creates a bad image of the person. It is not fair to the person because all reports are neither factual or properly investigated before report.
.The word 'martyr' should be used only for those who die in enemy action while defending our nation from enemy forces or our own criminals
A person who is dead will not be bothering about he was given respect or not. And those who determine the amount or quality of respect are doing a disservice to the dead person's memory by making this an issue.
