Let's be practical. Being self-sufficient in oil & gas is only a distant dream. V shud concentrate on atomic, solar & wind energy 2 contain demand 4 oil. Y not ask Elon Musk 2 set up several electric auto factories in India with suitable incentive? Cars & trucks alone consume a huge %age of oil, which shud b curtailed. No other way. Geological survey was the last priority 4 India 4 a century & V R paying 4 it now!

We need a Mavlankar 2 run the Lok Sabha. A Speaker who will rule Freedom of Speech does not mean Speech w/out any Rules! Modi Govt need not fear any backlash if some MPs R suspended. People will only clap! Let's hope @ least in coming session better sense will prevail all around! Ladies are the same everywhere, in he USA or in India! Jeffrey Sinclair, a serving Brigadier General of US Army is charged with sexual assault & 2 more charges. Military prosecutors are bargaining with him to plead guilty to a charge of 'mistreatment' to avoid court proceedings! Don't blame Indian judiciary! It is a hundred times better. The problem with us is we in the USA, love cutting a 'deal' for anything! You can murder someone in cold blood in a small county and if you can engage a famous lawyer to defend by paying millions of dollars in fees, the county will be happy to allow you to plead guilty to  lesser crime, such as manslaughter or even unintended killing or self defense! Because the county cannot afford to reimburse your lawyer's fees just in case it loses the case! Shame on this plea bargaining process.
